Struck from 99.95% pure Palladium and first minted in 2005, the Canadian Palladium Maple Leaf is one of the very few Palladium bullion coins issued by official government mints. Manufactured for only a few years and only in the one troy ounce size, the Palladium Maple Leaf is produced by the Royal Canadian Mint, one of the leading manufacturers of precious metals bullion in North America.

Design

The design of the Palladium Maple Leaf is a portrait of Queen Elizabeth II on the obverse, along with the face value of 50 Canadian dollars and the year of minting. The reverse displays a detailed image of a maple leaf as well as inscriptions displaying the .9995 Palladium fineness and weight of the coin.
