This coin is a premium version of the Royal Canadian Mint’s .999 pure silver bullion coin struck in the proof finish with a mirrorlike background.

Design:

On the reverse side of the Canadian Gold Polar Bear coin is the namesake image of the product. In the design, a lone polar bear is featured walking along an ice shelf. Engravings include Canada and the weight, purity, and metal content of the coin.

The obverse side features artist Susanna Blunt’s right-profile portrait of Queen Elizabeth II. Her Majesty’s depiction is surrounded by the engravings of Elizabeth II, the face value of the coin, and its year of minting.
